"Neue Ringbahnhöfe" ist der Name eines Bauvorhabens, das zwischen Karl-Marx-Strasse (S-Bahnhof Neukölln) und Hertabrücke auf dem
35.000 m2 grossen Gelände (entspricht ca. sechs Fussballfeldern) des ehemaligen Güterbahnhofs Neukölln* entstehen wird. Das temporäre
ortsspezifische Projekt when the image is new, the world is new möchte diesen für den Kiez im Herzen von Neukölln einschneidenden und
vielschichtigen Transformationsprozess vorab künstlerisch untersuchen, kommentieren, diskutieren sowie Ausblicke und Visionen kreieren.
Von April bis September 2019 werden Künstler*innen dafür in und mit dem verwaisten und unscheinbaren Pförtnerhaus dieses historischen
Areals ortsspezifische Arbeiten entwickeln, die sich zudem mit der Geschichte und Funktion des Geländes entlang der S-Bahn
auseinandersetzen, bevor gegen Ende des Jahres der komplette Abriss beginnen wird.

"Neue Ringbahnhöfe" is the name of a development area that will be built between Karl-Marx-Strasse (Neukölln S-Bahn station) and Hertabrücke
on the 35,000 m2 ground (approximate to six football fields) of the former Neukölln* freight station.
The temporary site-specific project when the image is new, the world is new, wants to artistically examine, comment on, discuss and create
views and visions in advance of this intricate and multifaceted transformation process for the neighborhood in the heart of Neukölln.
From April to September 2019, artists will develop site-specific works in and with the left alone and inconspicuous gatehouse of this historic site,
which will also deal with the history and function of the site along the S-Bahn before the complete demolition at the end of the year will begin.
